Follow-up management program

• STEP 1. During surgery

  ▶

  Less than 3cm minimal incision.

  Use of derma bond for suturing without having to use suture thread.

• STEP 2. After surgery

  ▶

  Scar laser Fraxel effective for early scar healing after surgery.

• STEP 3. When scars thicken

  Treatment of inflammation with Triam unsightly flesh injection.

  If the scar is severe, proceed with scar removal.

Follow-up management process

• 

  If you have surgery with a smooth implant, continue to massage 3-4 times a day for 6 months.

• 

  If you have had surgery with textured implants, you should not massage.

• 

  Take medicine for prevention of capsular contracture for 3 months immediately after the surgery.

※ There could be difference in schedule since recovery period differs for each individual.

Precautions after breast augmentation

• Hot pack

  • Steam 3-4 times a day, 5-10 minutes each time.

  • There is a risk of burns, so never let it come into direct contact with your skin, and spread or cover it with a towel before use.

• Ice pack

  • I don't usually use it.

  • You may be at risk of Bleeding if you have pain, such as a feeling of throbbing or tightness in your chest more than usual after breast surgery.
    At this time, stop the hot pack and press the upper chest with an ice pack for about 5 minutes to stop the Bleeding.

• Wearing an upper band

  • It is important to wear the upper band the correct way, so check it often to see if it has been repositioned.

  • After 3 hours, you can loosen it for 30 minutes, so take it off for a while during meals.

  • Removed 1 month after surgery.

• Capsular contracture drugs

  • Take once a day after meals for 3 months after surgery.

  • If you do not take the medicine, you may be at risk of capsular contracture, so take it regularly.

  • In case of severe side effects such as skin trouble, contact your doctor.
    (Symptoms improve immediately after stopping the medicine, so there is no need to worry too much.)

• Wearing a bra

  • It is not recommended to wear a bra after breast surgery.

  • You can wear a sports bra 1 month after surgery, and it is recommended to wear a wire bra 6 months after surgery.

  • Until then, do not affect the breast line by attaching a nipple patch to the no-bra.

• Shower

  • It is possible on the 13th day from the day of surgery.

  • Do not remove the taped part forcibly and dry it well. If it falls off on its own, just let it fall.
    If necessary, it will be reattached when you visit the hospital.

  • Bathing in a bathtub or sauna is possible 3 weeks after surgery, but care must be taken not to saturate the surgical area with water.

  • Use scar ointment after 1 month.

  • If you have an armpit incision, it is a good way to prevent scarring by providing ventilation in between so that it is not too humid.
